Balsam Crest Estrelas is Canada’s breeder of the Estrela Mountain Dog, a Portuguese livestock guardian dog (LGD) that is extremely rare in Canada and the US. The breed is unique among LGD’s in being less reactive than most and in bonding more deeply with their human families.

We currently have a litter of puppies who will be ready to go to their forever homes in early to mid-May. They are being raised in our home with our children, will be extensively socialized and come with up-to-date immunization, comprehensive veterinary health checks and are UKC registered.
