Rat terriers are very similar they are both tenacious in hunting rats. With the tests proving Rat terriers are faster and more efficient. With that said Rat terriers are also more obedient than a jack Russell and more devoted to their people. Also they have a really good mind and temperment. Good with children and your farm pets despite being hunting dogs, if raised correctly. Easily trained, readily willing to sleep all day or go out for a jog all day. These dogs wants to be with their people first over anything else.
