- Begin to establish a schedule for your puppy, including feeding, potty breaks, playtime and rest time.
- Finally, be prepared to devote a lot of time and patience to your new puppy, as they will need consistent training, socialization, and attention.
- Get familiar with positive reinforcement techniques and have treats on hand to reward your new puppy for good behavior.
